We’re hoping to raise money and awareness for Action Duchenne. Action Duchenne is a national charity that aims to find a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), a severe genetic muscle wasting disease. Due to progressive muscle deterioration, loss of movement occurs, eventually leading to paralysis. The average life expectancy for patients with DMD is around 25.
